Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra | Transfer to Phuentsholing
• Arrive at Bagdogra Airport, where you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you in boarding your transfer to Bhutan.
• Enjoy a scenic drive to Jaigaon, the last Indian border town, before entering Bhutan.
• Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, complete the permit formalities and check in to your hotel.
• Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu
• After breakfast, begin your drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
• This journey offers stunning countryside views, winding mountain roads, and picturesque villages.
• Stop at Chuzom Bridge to admire the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers, along with a portrait of the King and Queen.
• Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check in to your hotel. If time permits, explore Thimphu, the only city in the world without traffic lights, or visit the local markets.
• Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Excursion to Punakha
• Enjoy breakfast before setting out for Punakha, located 75 km east of Thimphu.
• Our first stop is Dochu La, one of Bhutan's most scenic mountain passes. Take some time to admire the panoramic views of the Himalayas while enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee.
• Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers.
• After lunch, embark on a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (the Temple of Fertility), dedicated to Lam Drukpa Kuenley (the Divine Mad Man).
• Return to Thimphu for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Thimphu Local Sightseeing | Transfer to Paro
• After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Thimphu, visiting Simply Bhutan and the Buddha Dordenma statue.
• Later, prepare for your transfer to Paro.
• Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.
• Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5: Paro Local Sightseeing | Hike to Tiger’s Nest
• Post breakfast, get ready for one of the most magical experiences in Bhutan—hiking to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest Temple).
• Drive to the starting point of the hiking trail, then hike through beautiful pine forests to reach this stunning monastery clinging to a cliff 900 meters above the valley.
• Spend peaceful moments exploring the monastery, listening to prayer chants, and meditating in the caves.
• After your visit, return to Paro for the night.

Day 6: Paro to Siliguri | Scenic Road Journey
• Enjoy breakfast before beginning your return journey.
• Board your transfers and embark on a beautiful road trip back, crossing Phuentsholing into India.
• Arrive in Siliguri by evening, check in to your hotel, and relax for the day.
• Overnight stay in Siliguri.

Day 7: Departure from Siliguri to Bagdogra Airport
• After breakfast, check out and make your way to Bagdogra Airport at your convenience.
