Itinerary

Day 0: Drive from Delhi to Shimla | Overnight Journey
• The group will assemble at the meeting point by 10:00 PM, where you will meet your trip captains and receive a briefing.
• Set off for an overnight journey to Shimla, passing through scenic highways.

 

Day 1: Shimla to Chitkul
• Arrive early in Shimla and switch to Tempo Travelers for the rest of the journey.
• Travel along the picturesque Hindustan-Tibet Highway to reach Chitkul or Sangla, depending on weather conditions.
• Check into your hotel for group bonding activities, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Chitkul/Sangla to Kalpa 
• After breakfast, head towards Kalpa, known for its panoramic views of the Kinner Kailash range.
• En route, visit the small town of Reckong Peo and, if time permits, explore Kamru Fort.
• Upon arrival, visit the 3000-year-old Kalpa Monastery and the iconic Suicide Point, before checking into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Kalpa to Nako 
• Enjoy breakfast before setting out towards the tiny hamlet of Nako in the Trans-Himalayan ranges.
• Stop at Khab, where the Sutlej and Spiti rivers meet, for some stunning views.
• In Nako, visit the serene Nako Lake and the ancient Nako Monastery, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Nako to Kaza 
• Begin the day with breakfast before heading to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti.
• On the way, visit the thousand-year-old Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery, both rich in history and culture.
• Arrive in Kaza by evening, check in, and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Spiti Sightseeing 
• After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing, starting with the Key Monastery, one of the largest in Spiti.
• Visit Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest bridge, followed by Hikkim, home to the highest post office in the world.
• Continue to Komic, one of the highest motorable villages, and finally, explore Langza, famous for its fossils and the giant Buddha statue overlooking the village.
• Return to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Kaza to Kalpa 
• Enjoy breakfast and begin the return journey to Kalpa.
• En route, make a stop at the stunning Lingti Falls, if time permits.
• Arrive in Kalpa by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Kalpa to Shimla 
• After breakfast, continue towards Shimla, with a photo stop at the iconic Rock Tunnel, also known as the Gateway to Kinnaur.
• Upon arrival in Shimla, board an overnight bus back to Delhi.

 

Day 8: Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends
• Arrive in Delhi early in the morning, marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti adventure.
• The group disbands with fond memories of the Himalayas.
