Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Delhi to Jim Corbett 
• The group will assemble at the pick-up point at the scheduled time.
• After a brief introduction session given by the Trip Captain, we will head towards Jim Corbett. Situated near the renowned hill station of Nainital, at the base of the Himalayas, Jim Corbett National Park is well-known for its abundant population of tigers, the highest among all national parks in India.
• We will start our overnight journey from Delhi to Jim Corbett.

Day 2: Jim Corbett National Park 
• Upon reaching Jim Corbett, we’ll check in to our designated stay and freshen up.
• Later in the day, we’ll visit the sacred Girija Devi Temple, a beautiful temple built on a rock in the middle of the Kosi River, first discovered in 1840.
• Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure; you can relax by the pool, soak in the scenic views, or explore the surroundings.
• After dinner, retire for the night, filled with excitement for tomorrow's jungle safari.
• Overnight stay at Jim Corbett.

Day 3: Jungle Safari | Proceed to Rishikesh 
• We’ll head out for an early morning jungle safari where you can witness nature in all its raw glory and spot many rare animals and birds.
• After the safari, return for a hearty breakfast.
• We’ll check out of our stay and head towards Rishikesh, known as the world capital of yoga and meditation.
• Upon reaching Rishikesh, we will check into our designated stays, followed by time to enjoy the local cafes.
• Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 4: Rafting | Proceed to Chopta 
• Wake up to the soothing sounds of the Ganga River. After breakfast, we’ll embark on an exciting river rafting session, a thrilling adventure on the rapids of the Ganga.
• Following the rafting, we will head towards Chopta.
• En route, marvel at the stunning views where the Ganga River merges, offering awe-inspiring sights of Devprayag and Rudraprayag.
• Upon arrival, we’ll check into our campsites at Chopta.
• Unwind in the lap of nature and enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by an overnight stay in Chopta.

Day 5: Trek to Tungnath Temple 
• After an early breakfast, we will set out on our trek to Tungnath, home to the highest Shiva temple in the world at an impressive elevation of 12,106 ft.
• We’ll take a moment to pay our respects at the temple before continuing our trek toward the magnificent Chandrashila Summit.
• Reaching an altitude of 12,110 ft, the summit offers breathtaking views of the Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch, and Chaukhamba peaks.
• After taking in the spectacular scenery, we’ll make our way back to the campsite for some refreshing snacks.
• Conclude the day with a delicious dinner and cosy overnight stay at our campsite in Chopta.

Day 6: Chopta - Rishikesh - Delhi
• After breakfast, we will check out of our campsites and head back to Rishikesh.
• Upon reaching Rishikesh, we’ll explore the area on foot, starting with the iconic Ram Jhula and Janki Setu bridges.
• In the evening, witness the sacred Ganga Aarti, an enchanting ceremony filled with lights and prayers as the sun sets over the river.
• After a day of fun and exploration, we will embark on an overnight journey back to Delhi.

Day 7: Arrival in Delhi | Tour Ends
• We will arrive in Delhi by early morning, bidding farewell to one another with cherished memories.
• This marks the end of our remarkable journey with WanderVeda.
