Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Joshimath 
• The group will assemble at the pick-up point at 8:30 PM (tentative).
• After a brief introduction session by the Trip Captain, we will head towards Joshimath, the gateway to several Himalayan pilgrimage sites, trekking trails, and mountain expeditions.
• We will start our overnight journey from Delhi to Joshimath.

Day 2: Joshimath Arrival 
• As we travel to Joshimath along the Badrinath road, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the Ganga River’s four sacred confluences: Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandaprayag, with the Alaknanda River enhancing the beauty of our route.
• Upon arrival at Joshimath, we will check into our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to explore the area with a leisurely walk.
• Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 3: Joshimath to Auli to Chopta 
• After an early breakfast, we will head towards Auli, a Himalayan ski resort overlooking the Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. We will explore the mesmerizing beauty of Auli via the chair lift or local cab.
• Afterward, we will proceed to Chopta, another hidden gem of Uttarakhand.
• Upon arrival, we will check into our campsites at Chopta and unwind in the lap of nature.
• Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Chopta.

Day 4: Trek to Tungnath Temple 
• After breakfast, we will start our trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, situated at an elevation of 12,106 feet. We will take a moment to pay our respects here.
• If time permits, we will continue our journey to the Chandrashila Summit for awe-inspiring views of Nanda Devi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch, and Chaukhamba peaks.
• For lunch, we'll enjoy packed meals, and after taking in the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas, we will make our way back to our campsite.
• After reaching the campsite, you will be treated to snacks.
• We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in our cozy camps at Chopta.

Day 5: Chopta to Rishikesh 
• After breakfast, we will check out of our campsites and head to Rishikesh. After a thrilling journey, we will reach Rishikesh by evening.
• Known as the Yoga Capital of India, Rishikesh is blessed with the flowing waters of the holy Ganga River.
• Upon reaching Rishikesh, we will check into our designated accommodations.
• Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 6: Rafting and Rishikesh Sightseeing | Overnight Journey to Delhi
• Waking up to the sound of the Ganga River, we will start the day with breakfast and check out from our stay. Get ready for an exciting rafting session, promising thrills beyond compare.
• After lunch, we will explore two iconic bridges: Ram Jhula and Janki Setu. At sunset, we will participate in the sacred Ganga Aarti, witnessing the river's changing colours.
• After a day filled with adventure and exploration, we will embark on an overnight journey back to Delhi.

Day 7: Arrival in Delhi | Tour Ends
• We will arrive in Delhi by early morning, bidding farewell to one another with cherished memories.
• This marks the end of our remarkable journey with WanderVeda.
